I stumbled across the place while here in Tampa. I’m always skeptical of trying West Indian food outside of the NYC area. But I was in town and figured I’d give it a shot. I spoke with the young lady that takes the orders and I asked what’s their best dish. She said Oxtails 1st and then their Jerk Chicken 2nd. I explained that I loved oxtail and that I’m very picky about where I try it. She assured me that it was a can’t miss. I ordered it and it was VERY good, nice size portion. I spent about 32 for the a tray of Oxtail with white rice and a Modelo. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back and try their Jerk Chicken

This was my 1st time and let me tell you, my jerk chicken order was on point. Very nice taste and the best rice and peas and cabbage I’ve ever had in my life. I definitely will be back!! thank you so much for the great service

Delicious and wonderful experience at Jerk Pit! The oxtail was amazing, flavorful, and big!! The customer service here was also very great. I accidentally dropped my beef patty on the floor and they immediately replaced it with a new one. Overall the food here perfectly satisfied my cravings. Super tasty food and amazing customer service

I’m from Miami and i’m used to AUTHENTIC food from every culture. it’s usually really hard to find authentic food in other cities and i PROMISE , Jerk Pit is 10/10. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! ( picture below is oxtail plate , rice and peas, steamed cabbage and i usually get a pineapple Jamaican soda in a glass bottle )

The oxtails and the beef Patties are amazing! My first time trying it with coco bread and it was amazing. Came here a big while ago and forgot to review, but this place is a must! The owner was so nice and sweet as well, excellent customer service. Their wings are nice and juicy too I didn’t even take a pocture of my food cause i was too busy eating it lol. Best oart is They have fresh juices that the owner makes, they’re amazing!!! Hands down one of the best fresh juices Ive had in a while. I recommend the fruit punch for sure, she sells out really fast. The beet juice is amazing as well!!! They also had some desserts but i didn’t grab any (i regret it now ) Need to come here again!

Love this place. Moved to Tampa a few years ago and have tried multiple Jamaican restaurants but this one is my favorite. The staff is always pleasant and the food’s taste is always consistent. I get the jerk pork every time and let’s not forget the jerk sauce. It has a very unique taste-not like your typical sauce but definitely top tier!!

My wife and I were craving for some Jamaican food. We google to see what was near us and if there were any located around that were open. We came across Jerk Pit and it was roughly 8:40pm and closing time is 9:00pm. We still decided to call and try our luck. I believe it was the owner but I’m not 100%. Still took our order and was extremely nice. 10/10 Customer Service. Gave us a courtesy call letting us know the food was done while we were on the way, the pictures describe it all. Food was really good & fresh!!!! Couldn’t believe we were able to still get an order in. Thank you Jerk Pit - we will be coming back.

The chicken was so tender & juicy!!! Very flavorful and abundant portions of food. The owner Marvin was very nice and generous. Very eager to answer any of the questions about the menu we might have.
